This fabulous Victorian Sterling Silver Scottish Agate brooch is Circa 1860.

Set with a central celtic Agate design in the centre which boasts four stunning Citrine’s.

Citrine’s sparkle and have a crisp, radiant quality about them. The name Citrine is derived from the colour - the yellow of lemon, it is also known as "Gold Topaz" and is the birthstone for November.

Each Agate is unique with natural colouring and polished to perfection.

Agate is a strong mineral sometimes known as the earth rainbow for it’s patterned texture that shows varying colours the earth can produce.

The brooch displays inlaid plaid Agates and detailed Celtic engravings around the outer gallery.

All set in Sterling Silver and complete with pin and C catch.

Purchased in London and steeped in history.

Looks fabulous when worn, a great talking piece.
